The Iron King

Iron King
Julie Kagawa, the writer of the book called the Iron King. The first book in the series called the Iron Fey, is The Iron King.  She has some other books besides this series, which I have not yet read, but would like too. Julie lives in Louisiana, KY, with her husband, two cats, a dog and a new puppy. She loves writing books, tries to have a lot of free time, and follows other book authors, so she can become a better writing.
The Iron king is a girl, named Megan Chase, who is living her life as a normal teen would, hanging out with friends, going places, wasting money, just having a good time. She has a mom step dad and a half brother. Her dad went missing so many years ago and has never been found or herd of. He disappeared without a trace.  Her and her family move a lot but Megan can’t seem to find out why.
Megan has come home to find her mom on the floor with her head bleeding and Ethan, the little brother, standing over her with a hammer. Ethan tells his sister that it was only an accident and that she had fallen, but Megan didn’t seam to believe that. When, she tired to get the hammer from her baby brother he attacked her, yes attacked his own sister. Then Robby, Megan`s best friend and only friend, came to the door Ethan ran as fast as he had ever run before to his room. After a while had passed Megan went to check on him.

They find out that he is not the real son he is a changeling, a creature invented by the mysterious Iron King. To find him and bring the real boy home Megan must go to fairyland and search for him. Robby is the summer prince, ash, a boy Megan soon falls for, is the winter prince. The summer and winter families do not get a long. After, being in fairyland for a few days, Megan comes to find out that her dad, that disappeared when she was 6 years old, is the summer fairy king.
Now, Megan must go through lies, broken hearts and friendships that may be lost forever to find her brother and return home.
I enjoyed reading this book. I think it has a very interesting story and explains a lot of the events very well, thats happining in the book.
